Hello! So happy you are here! Want to get to know me? Here goes! I’m a hopeless romantic, through and through. I absolutely adore each and every love story I get to tell because of this. I’m wrapped around my 10lb Morkie’s paw and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve traveled to 30+ countries and lived overseas for 4 years. I for sure have arachnophobia. Give me a white sand beach with crystal clear water any day. I would also take a lodge up in the mountains in the snow. My dream is to live 50/50 in both places. I love a hot cup of coffee every morning in the chilly months and iced in the summer, always with creamer of course. I’ve never met a dessert I didn’t like.
I grew up in a small town called Fincastle, VA and lived in the same little house my whole life until I was 18 and left for college. I’ve now moved about once a year since 2007…funny how that works! I adore all grandparents and cherish the one grandmother I still have left today. I recieved a small golf scholarship for college and yet never once played the sport. Bhutan is by far one of the most amazing countries I’ve visited and highly recommend. I love a good series I can binge watch and of course need all the snacks while doing so. I love wine, both white and red. I lost my husband in 2014. Think we have something in common yet?

01: Pearl, my pup
If you know me, you know Pearl. We are a combo deal! She really is my whole world and I’m 100% one of those crazy dog obsessed people! She turned 6 in October!
02.walks on the beach
How cliché right?! But it’s so true. Pearl and I walk the beach I’d say at least 3 times a week for a good few miles each time and the sunsets never get old here in Va Beach!
03: travel
My travel bug began in high school when I took a trip to France, Spain and England with a group of good friends and staff. Never would I have guessed that many years later I would have lived overseas for 4 years. I will not stop exploring, learning, and traveling and neither should you!
